- Three mornings a week I drag myself out of bed at
3 o'clock in the morning
to fly one of PenAir's airplanes, filled
with mail and groceries, to small towns in Alaska. I'm usually back in
Anchorage by 2:00 pm. Then I hop into my Honda
Element and drive to Dynamic
Properties where I work as a Realtor®
until evening. I've been a pilot since I was 16 years old and a Realtor®
since 1996. The jury's still out on the Element. I think I like it.

- My dad was a Northwest Airlines captain
in the 1940's through 1970's. He taught me how to fly in a 1947 Cessna-140. I
graduated from Princeton High School in Minnesota
and left Mankato State University
with a bachelor's degree in education in 1977. Ah, yes. I've many
hidden talents.

- In 1996 I became a licensed Realtor®. It turns out that I'm good at it,
so I've been helping clients buy and sell real estate successfully ever since. Check out
my
listings page or talk to my buyers. You'll find that I'm a low-key
salesperson, I won't push. YOU make the decisions. I tell you the rules, give you
the options, and prepare the paperwork.

- What is SRES? It
stands for Senior Real Estate Specialist. This is a designation offered
by those REALTORS® who want to offer more expertise related to the real
estate concerns of people over 50. I flew to Palm Springs, CA in April
of 2008 to take the class and, yes, I passed the test.
